New Communication Initiative

To coincide with the new look, EXITO has launched a new suite of material to meet stakeholder’s information needs. This has been developed for all levels – corporate, industry and trainee.

Part of this new material is a trainee pack for all active trainees. The Extractives sector is in the process of receiving these with nearly 2000 packs being assembled as this is written, with the six other industries to follow. Each pack is specific to the trainee and consists of;

- A personalized folder.
- An introductory letter from the relevant Industry Training Advisor (ITA).
- A student card.
- Qualification brochures specific to the qualification the trainee is enrolled in.
- A record of learning with the units the trainee has currently achieved.
- EXITO Pen.

The folder is divided into five sections; About EXITO, Qualifications in the Extractive Sector, Training, Assessment, Training Plan and Progress reports.

The purpose of the pack is to build awareness and motivate trainees to achieve their qualifications. The pack provides information on a trainees current position and gives them a clear indication of the units they need to complete. It keeps all of their assessment and training information in one place so they can track and plan their progress. So far feedback has been extremely positive towards these packs and we hope to continue this success across all sectors. A huge thank you to all who had input into this massive task.
