About EXITO

EXITO is one of over 40 industry training organisations in New Zealand. Industry Training is designed to give New Zealand's workforce the skills and knowledge needed for our industry to gain a competitive edge. Industry Training concentrates on workplace learning to raise employee's skills.

EXITO is the Industry Training Organisation (ITO) for the following industries:

Formed in 1996 by Government Statute, EXITO works with industry based experts; New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA), Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) and training providers, to provide industry with work based training and career pathways.

EXITO's role is to:

*  organise on and off-the-job training for those working in the industry
*  arrange the assessment of those in training
*  improve work place skills and health & safety through training
*  provide information and advice to employees and employers
*  provide companies with rebates for qualification completions, determined by their service level
